What do we need from you?
We highly recommend having your own personal insurance through the Sask Horse Federation for your own protection just as we do. Not a resident of Saskatchewan? Receive your insurance through your province’s horse association.
You will also be required to sign a waiver releasing us from responsibility for any mishaps that can happen on the trail, in camp, or traveling to and from our destination.
We will do our best to have alternate plans if we have bad weather. Unfortunately that is the one thing we can’t reserve.
Can we book a private trip for our group?
- Absolutely. We would love to plan your trip for you.
- Special rates apply for 4-H groups (chaperones required).
- Meals can be included (in Canada).
- Group tent available.
Let us know where you want to go, how many people and what you would like included. We will gather all the information required and give you a free quote. Your adventure can be tailored to fit!
How can I go if I don’t have a trailer?
- We may have someone going that would be willing to trailer your horse. We will put you in touch.
- You are welcome to tent on any of our trips.
- Some of the campsites we will be going to have cabins you can rent or hotels very close and we can customize your trip to accommodate your needs.
We can make these same arrangements if you have a trailer you don’t want to sleep in. Contact us for more details.
I ride but my spouse doesn’t. If we both go, what will my spouse do when I’m riding?
Some rides are more amenable to this situation than others. The trip to the Black Hills and Ten Sleep trips would both we very interesting even if you are not an equestrian. The Black Hills of South Dakota have numerous things to see and do within a short drive.
There would be a little more driving from Ten Sleep, but there are also many sights and historic places to be explored.
Cypress Hills and Old Man River are more isolated and more suitable to relaxation, photography, or hiking.
